Beyond Utility

'beyond utility' used to be my "maker's mark" in a former life as a potter. The pots that I made back then were pretty anti-utilitarian, so I used to stamp the bottom of them 'beyond utility', just to remove doubt. I became interested in the opposite end of the silicon spectrum and jumped ship for a career in ICT under the heady influence of Sally Hacker. I have started making again, I am also blogging. It's possible that this is more than just coincidence...
