Daniel Collins

Daniel Collins blogs at the science and engineering blog Down to Earth. He is a postdoctoral researcher at the Center for Sustainability and the Global Environment within the Nelson Institute for Environmental Studies at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He has a Ph.D. in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, where he began the Down to Earth blog. His research interests center on hydrology and water resources, and include ecology, natural hazards, and sustainability.
