Jamais Vu / Thoughts of a Passionately Ambivalent Cinephile is a film and media blog run by Jason Sperb, a PhD Candidate in Communication and Culture at Indiana University. He is the author of The Kubrick Facade (2006) and co-editor of Cinephilia in the Age of Digital Reproduction (2008). The name jamais vu (the feeling of something new within the experience of the familiar) serves as a parable for cinephilia and the process of writing about film.
