From AcademicBlogs
I have just added the Laboratório de Interação Mediada por Computador [Computer-Mediated Interaction Laboratory] weblog to the list. It is written in portuguese, so I guess you will have to take my word as to its academic focus.
The category listing reads: "academy", "blogosphere", "cyberpolitics", "creative commons", "interaction", "online journalism", "fun" (because academics like to have a good time too), "news" (from the laboratory team, i.e., presentation of papers in conferences and the like), "podcast" and "technology".
The laboratory is part of the School of Biblioteconomy and Communications Sciences of University of Rio Grande do Sul, and is based in Porto Alegre. Alex Primo, PhD., is the chief researcher.
That is just fine - maybe add this to a list of blogs in Portuguese as well (which could be generated on Blogs by Language Henry 00:06, 7 October 2006 (EDT)
