This is the weblog of the independent german scientific journal WISSENSCHAFT in progress (WIP). The journal and the blog are run by Mario Donick, Wiebke Schwelgengräber and Uta Buttkewitz. The editors work, research and teach at the University of Rostock in Germany.

Topics are communication science, linguistics, media, culture and literature and education.

The first issue of WIP was published in April 2008, the second issue is scheduled for June 2008, the third issue for September/October 2008. All issues can be downloaded for free in PDF-format from the weblog. Printed issues can be ordered for free by sending a mail to the editors.
